The Kite Festival

Yesterday we went to the Zilker Kite Festival.

I love to see all of the people that enjoy flying a kite. There were lots of different kites in all different shapes adn sizes but we found that a good old fashioned cheap plastic kite works the best.

Then we spent some time at the park playscape.

Sydney's baptism

Sydney was thrilled to be eight and be able to be baptized on January 31st.

Unfortunately I don't have a picture with a full length shot of her dress but here is a picture with some friends that attended her baptism.

It was a wonderful day! We really enjoyed having family here.
